A natural juice of seedless unripe green grapes, it has been used in traditional French Cuisine since the Middle Ages. Because of its mild acidity, it is a very versatile ingredient that will enhance poultry and game, fish and seafood, stews, marinades, sauce and of course, salads. Use it in place of lemon juice for an extra tangy flavor
Verjus Rouge or red - is made with unripe red grapes. This is full bodied and tangy with a bit more acid than the white.
Organic Verjus Blanc or white - is made with organic unripe white grapes. This has a subtle almost sweet and fruity taste. Drink it straight for a clean and cleansing beverage. Experiment with the white verjus when mixing adult beverages.
