Reishi Mushroom (Ganoderma lucidum)
Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) is a distinctive polypore mushroom native to East Asia and traditionally prepared in a variety of ways throughout the region. Known as lingzhi in China and mannentake in Japan, reishi is recognized by its glossy appearance, woody texture, and characteristically bitter flavor.
Due to its dense structure, reishi is commonly sliced or chopped and simmered in water to prepare teas and decoctions. Its unique flavor profile makes it a popular ingredient in traditional and contemporary specialty preparations. It can be used alone or combined with other mushrooms and botanicals in specialty food preparations.

This product is processed through screening, manual selection, machine selection, screening of powder, and metal detection. This and all mushroom products are tested organoleptically for quality prior to shipment.

Store dried mushrooms in airtight containers and store in freezer for the longest shelf life. Tip: Use a coffee grinder to make granules quickly and easily. Use hot water, boiling water to extract the Reishi's beneficial properties.
