Dried Yellow Oyster Mushrooms (pleurotus citrinopileatus), also known as Golden oyster, this beautiful edible mushrooms is native to eastern Russia, China and Japan. It is closely related to the European pleurotus cornucopiae. It has also been found in the United States growing on oak, elm, beech and other hardwoods.
Yellow oyster mushrooms are a great source of antioxidants. It, along with other pleurotus species are among the most common and commonly cultivated or foraged mushrooms.
