Lion's Mane Mushroom (hericium erinaceus), also known as Hedgehog mushroom, has a long history of usage in traditional Chinese medicine. Lion's Mane mushroom is rich in some physiologically important components, especially β-glucan polysaccharides. Studies have suggested that these polysaccharides have anti-cancer, immuno-modulating, hypolipidemic, antioxidant and neuro-protective properties. In Japan, lion's mane is known as yamabushitake in reference to "yamabushi" or mountain ascetics; while in China, it is known as hóutóugū (simplified Chinese: 猴头菇; traditional Chinese: 猴頭菇;) Jyutping "monkey head mushroom."
This product is processed through screening, manual selection, machine selection, screening of powder, and metal detection. This and all mushroom products are tested organoleptically for quality prior to shipment.

Store dried mushrooms in airtight containers and store them in freezer for the longest shelf life.
