Dried Bolet also known as "slippery jack" (suillus luteus) has an earthy/buttery flavor that pairs well with meats. It enhances the flavor of cooked veggies and makes any casserole truly tasty. The powder makes a great rub, either used alone or added into your own rub recipe. Bolet, like all mushrooms are one of the best meat substitutes - ideal for any vegan or vegetarian recipe. Mushrooms are naturally chewy, they crisp up beautifully, and they absorb delicious sauces to make them even more flavorful. Mushrooms are also an environmentally-friendly swap and they’re generally cheaper compared to their meat counterparts.
